Oh, where do I start? The homemade pastries at breakfast were bliss, and the nearby spots for munchies—Homeground Coffee + Kitchen, and the Little Ice Cream Shop—made our taste buds dance. An unexpected treat was when Linda put on her famous pot of stew that warmed our hearts after a day out in Windermere!
The room was a bit stuffy at times, but opening the door let some fresh air in, so no biggie! Plus, being close enough to Windermere town centre meant easy access without the Bowness hustle.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the high street and close to North South Gallery, which we enjoyed visiting. I particularly loved the ample, well-cooked breakfast each morning, which certainly set us up for the day. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great tips on places to explore. it was a lovely two-night stay.

A cozy stay by the lake
From the moment we arrived, Linda and Chris made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality. Breakfast was delightful, and the location was perfect for exploring local attractions.
The room itself was a bit compact, which may present a challenge for those needing extra space or storage. While this was manageable for us, it might be a consideration for larger groups.

Room sizes are tiny and storage space is limited!!! The Wi-Fi is unreliable and many TV channels are missing!!! Steps should be taken to address the musty smell in common areas!!! Parking can be a hassle during peak times!!!

Staying here was a delight, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and the attentive host who even provided a fan for my room. The breakfast included delicious French bread, and the location made it easy to explore the nearby shops and attractions. the room could benefit from more storage space, and I encountered occasional issues with Wi-Fi connectivity. parking became a bit challenging during the busy hours.
